South Texas Style Quail - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 quail
    1/2 tsp. salt
    pepper
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. light cream
    cooking oil
Preparation
    Dust quail with combined salt, pepper and flour.
    Place in skillet of hot deep fat; cover and brown on both sides, turning only once.
    Pour off grease and add cream and cook over low heat until tender.
    Thicken gravy.
    Serve with hot biscuits.
