Buttermilk Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. all-purpose flour*
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/8 tsp. baking soda
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. buttermilk or sour milk
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil
Preparation
    Stir together flour,
    baking
    powder,
    baking
    soda and salt in a medium bowl.
    Stir
    together buttermilk and oil then pour over flour mixture and mix well.
    Knead dough gently on a lightly floured surface 10 to
    12 times.
    Roll or pat dough to 1/2-inch thickness.
    Cut with a 2-inch biscuit cutter, dipping cutter in flour between cuts,
    and
    put on an ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for
    10
    to
    12
    minutes or until golden. Serve warm. Makes 8 biscuits.
