Molasses Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. light Karo
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. nuts
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Make in a Teflon pan.
    Stir with a wooden spoon.
    Cook the first 4 ingredients over medium heat until a little dropped in cold water is brittle.
    Add the nuts.
    Remove at once from stove. Add the baking soda; beat hard.
    Turn into two 8 x 8-inch buttered pans, then cut and wrap in waxed paper.
