Lemon Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. cold water
    1 lemon rind, grated
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    3 egg whites
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1 pie shell
    1/3 c. sugar
Preparation
    In bowl, mix together 1 cup sugar and cornstarch.
    Stir in water until smooth.
    Stir in egg yolks.
    Stirring constantly, bring to boil over medium heat and boil 1 minute.
    Remove from heat; stir in lemon rind, lemon juice and margarine.
    Cool.
    Pour into baked pie shell.
