Squash Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. fresh squash, cooked dry
    1 small onion, diced
    1 egg
    Ritz crackers, 1 1/2 packs
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Cook
    squash
    dry,
    adding salt, pepper and diced onion during last
    five minutes.
    Put mixture in refrigerator until cold.
    Add egg and Ritz crackers;
    roll in small balls.
    Roll these into cornmeal and fry in hot oil until golden brown.
