Tomato Soup(Canned) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 bushel tomatoes, sliced
    3 bunches (complete stalks) celery, cut in 3-inch strips
    2 bell peppers, sliced
    2 large onions
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. salt
    1 c. cornstarch
Preparation
    Put tomatoes, celery, bell pepper and onions in a large pan and cook until celery and pepper are soft (about 2 1/2 hours). Run through colander and add sugar, salt and cornstarch.
    Bring to boil and cook for 5 minutes.
    Put in jars and seal.
