Hot Fudge Pudding Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    1/2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. melted shortening
    1 c. nuts
    1 c. brown sugar
    4 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 3/4 c. hot water
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and cocoa together. Stir in milk and shortening; mix until smooth.
    Add nuts.
    Spread in a greased 8 x 8-inch square pan.
    Sprinkle with combined brown sugar and cocoa.
    Pour hot water on top.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 40 minutes.
    Serve upside down while hot.
    Top with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
