Nancy Mccorkle'S Caramel Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans Eagle Brand milk
    3 eggs
    2 c. milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. whipping cream
    2 c. half and half
Preparation
    Caramelize the Eagle Brand milk (simmer 4 hours).
    Make a custard of the eggs, milk, sugar and brown sugar, then cool this mixture.
    Then mix the whipping cream and half and half with the Eagle Brand milk into custard.
    Churn for 30 to 40 minutes.
    This makes 1 gallon.
