Southern Pecan Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. plain flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. margarine, softened
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    3/4 c. milk
    1 tsp. orange extract
    1 tsp. almond extract
    1 tsp. grated orange rind
    1 c. finely chopped pecans
Preparation
    In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt. Cream the margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Add the flour alternately with the milk to the butter mixture, beating until smooth and well combined.
    Stir in the flavorings and orange rind, mixing well.
    Fold in pecans.
    Pour mixture into a greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool slightly; remove from pan.
