Hot Milk Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. milk
1/2 c. butter
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
Preparation

Heat milk and butter until milk is scalded and butter is melted.
Blend flour, salt and baking powder.
Beat eggs and add sugar until light and thick.
Add flour mixture and blend well. Pour in milk mixture and beat on high until cool. (Batter will be very thin.) Beat in vanilla.
Pour into greased tube pan (or 2 loaf pans) and bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes. May be used for shortcakes or pound cake.
