Green Bean Casserole - cooking recipe

2 cans cut green beans, drained
1 can cream of celery soup or cream of chicken soup
1 small can chopped mushrooms, drained
1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained
1 stick butter or margarine
1 small chopped onion
1/2 pkg. shredded cheese (more if you like)
Preparation

Saut onions in butter/margarine. Add green beans, mushrooms, water chestnuts and cream of celery soup. Heat until all is mixed. Pour into a casserole dish. Cover with foil and put into oven at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes. Remove foil and put shredded cheese on top and cook, uncovered, for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted on top. Serves 8 to 10.
