Beef And Mushrooms Over Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean stew beef (or deer), cut into small cubes
    12 oz. sliced fresh mushrooms
    2 large sliced green peppers
    1/2 c. diced onions
    1 Tbsp. oleo
    2 cans beef broth
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    water
    salt and pepper
    garlic salt
    1 1/2 c. rice
Preparation
    Add the mushrooms, peppers and onions to the oleo and cook 15 minutes in a 12-inch skillet.
    Then add the beef, broth and seasonings.
    Cook over low to medium heat for 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours.
    Add the cornstarch to a little water and add to mixture until it thickens.
    Serve hot over cooked rice.
    Serves 4.
    Two hours total cooking time.
