German Red Cabbage(Old Family Recipe) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head red cabbage
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 large onion
    1/4 c. water
    1 c. vinegar cider
    6 strips bacon
Preparation
    Peel off dry pieces of cabbage.
    Cut into quarters, remove thick veins.
    Soak in cold water for 15 to 20 minutes to refresh. Sliver on cutting board before you soak.
