Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 pie shells
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 rounded Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 large or 2 small pkg. strawberry Jell-O
    3 1/4 c. cold water
    1 Tbsp. red food coloring
    3 pt. strawberries
Preparation
    Bake the pie shells.
    In saucepan, mix together the sugar, cornstarch and Jell-O.
    Add cold water; bring to gentle boil, stirring often, until thick and clear.
    Set aside to cool.
    Also, add red food coloring.
    Arrange strawberries in pie shells.
    Cut large ones in half.
    Pour cooled glaze over strawberries.
    Chill in refrigerator.
    Top with Cool Whip.
