3/4 c. self-rising flour
1 1/4 c. self-rising yellow cornmeal mix
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 Tbsp. melted butter
1 beaten egg
2 cut-up hot peppers
1/2 diced bell pepper
1 diced tomato
1 small can cream-style corn
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
buttermilk
pinch of baking soda
1/4 c. oil
Preparation

Mix everything except oil with buttermilk which has the baking soda in it.
Spray a large iron skillet with Pam.
Put the oil and batter in the skillet and bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350\u00b0, or until the cornbread is golden brown.
