Ingredients

2 c. butter
7 c. sifted flour
6 eggs
4 tsp. baking powder
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Blend in flour, baking powder and salt.
Chill dough 3 hours or overnight. Roll dough over a lightly floured pastry board.
Cut out with cookie cutters.
Bake until lightly browned, 8 to 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
