Pumpkin Cookies(Makes 4 Dozen) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. canned pumpkin
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    In a medium bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
    In a large bowl, cream together butter or margarine and sugar until fluffy.
    Add vanilla and pumpkin.
    Mix well.
    Gradually stir in sifted ingredients. Fold in raisins and nuts.
    Drop batter by teaspoonfuls (2 inches apart) on greased cookie sheet.
    Bake 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Let cool on wire rack.
