Easy Moist Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. margarine, softened
3 c. sugar
5 eggs, at room temperature and beaten
3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk, at room temperature
1 tsp. lemon extract
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. butter extract
1/4 tsp. almond extract
Preparation

Cream shortening and margarine until light.
Add sugar gradually, beating until fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Mix flour and baking powder in bowl. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beating well after each addition.
Stir in flavorings.
Pour into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
Place in cold oven.
Set oven temperature to 325\u00b0.
Bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Cool in pan for several minutes.
Invert onto serving plate.
Yield:
16 servings.
