Hot Diggity Dog Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. salt

Preparation

Brown ground beef, in a Dutch oven, stirring until it crumbles; drain.
Add onion and remaining ingredients.
Bring to a boil.
Cover, reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve over frankfurters in buns.
Yields 8 to 10 servings.
