Ingredients

1/2 c. oleo, softened
3/4 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. light brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. oats (quick cook or regular)
Preparation

In a large bowl beat oleo and peanut butter until light and fluffy.
Add sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla; beat well. Stir together flour, soda and salt; blend into peanut butter mixture.
Stir in oats.
Cover dough; refrigerate several hours, until firm enough to handle.
Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until almost set; cool 5 minutes.
Remove wrappers from peanut butter cups and place on each cookie, pressing down gently. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.
Cool completely.
Yield: 4 dozen.
