Spicy Peach Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. all-purpose flour
2/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
2 Tbsp. softened butter
16 oz. can sliced peaches (reserve syrup)
2 eggs
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. reserved syrup

Preparation

Using solid shortening, generously grease and flour 9 x 5 or 8 x 4-inch loaf pan.
