Beef Pomodori - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef round steak, thinly sliced
    2 medium cloves garlic, crushed
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 c. sliced onions
    1/3 c. dry red wine
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (11 oz.) can Cheddar cheese soup
    3/4 c. beef broth
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    3 c. hot cooked rice
Preparation
    Brown meat and garlic in oil.
    Add onions and cook 2 minutes longer.
    Blend wine, tomato sauce, soup, broth, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer about 50 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Serve over rice.
