Ingredients

2 c. butter (4 quarters)
2 c. brown sugar
2 c. granulated sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
5 c. dry oatmeal*
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

*Put small amounts of oatmeal in a blender until it turns to powder; measure out 5 cups oatmeal, not 5 cups powderized oats.
