Carman Lemon Sponge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    5 Tbsp. flour
    juice and grated rind of 1 large lemon or 1 1/2 small lemons
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Beat yolks; add to butter and sugar. Add flour, grated rind and juice.
    Fold in beaten whites.
    Pour into dish.
    Place dish in pan of water.
    Bake 45 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
