Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 rounded c. mashed bananas
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    2 c. flour
    3/4 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. soft shortening
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Combine bananas and pecans, set aside.
    Beat sugar, shortening, eggs and vanilla at medium-high speed for 1 1/2 minutes.
    Sift together flour, soda, baking powder and salt.
    Add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk.
    Pour into 2 waxed, lined loaf pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
