Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine, softened
2/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. grated lemon rind
1 egg yolk
2 1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 c. ground nuts
1 c. chocolate chips
powdered sugar
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add vanilla, lemon peel and egg yolk.
Blend well.
Stir in flour and nuts; mix well.
Shape into balls (1 1/2-inch) and place 2 inches apart on ungreased pan.
Make dent in center of each.
Bake 10 to 15 minutes.
