Brown Stone Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or 1/2 c. butter and 1/2 c. Crisco
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. plain flour
    1 sq. chocolate, melted
    1 c. buttermilk with 1 tsp. soda dissolved
    1/2 c. warm water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 eggs
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar well.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating until thoroughly mixed.
    Add flour alternately with buttermilk. Add melted chocolate with warm water and vanilla.
    Bake in layers at 375\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
