Brown Meat And Rice In Consomme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground meat
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
    1 can water
    2 Tbsp. celery and leaves, chopped
    1 small onion, chopped
    2/3 c. rice
    1 can condensed consomme
Preparation
    Pan brown meat.
    Brown slowly on all sides in skillet, using a small amount of fat, if necessary.
    Add green pepper, celery and onion and cook 5 minutes longer.
    Add rice, consomme and water. Bring to boil; cover and simmer gently stirring occasionally, for 20 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
    Serves 4.
