Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. beef stew meat
    1 small onion
    3 to 4 small potatoes
    3 to 4 carrots
    1 Tbsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 can peas
Preparation
    Cover meat with water in a large
    pan.
    Bring to a boil, then reduce and simmer until meat is tender. Add cut up onion and cover pan.
    Peel the potatoes and carrots and cut into small pieces. Add to meat and continue cooking about 30 to 45 minutes until meat and vegetables are tender.
    When ready to serve, add a can of peas, drained and heated.
