Vidalia Onion Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. thin sliced onion
2 Tbsp. butter
3 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. dill
1 tsp. celery seed or basil
1 (9-inch) pie shell
crisp bacon, crumbled
Preparation

Saute onions in butter until translucent.
Set aside to cool. Combine eggs, sour cream, salt, pepper and spice over low heat to blend well.
Combine with cooked onions.
Pour into baked pie shell.
Top with crumbled bacon.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 300\u00b0 and bake until crust is light brown, about 30 minutes.
