Buttercream Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. milk
    1/4 lb. butter (room temperature)
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Blend flour and milk together in saucepan.
    Cook over low heat until thick, stirring constantly.
    Cool.
    Add butter, sugar, shortening and vanilla.
    Beat with mixer until light and fluffy (about 10 minutes).
    Store in refrigerator for several days or use right away.
