Grandma Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. pitted dates
    1/2 c. Brazil nuts
    1/2 c. almonds
    1 c. pecans
    1/3 c. candied pineapple
    1/3 c. candied cherries
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1 egg
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. fruit juice or water
Preparation
    Chop dates, nuts and fruit.
    Cream butter, sugar, egg, salt and cinnamon.
    Sift together flour and soda and add to creamed mixture along with fruit juice.
    Add fruit and nuts.
    Mix well. Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes. Yields 9 dozen.
    Freezes well.
