Batter Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    2 c. lukewarm water
    1/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. shortening (oil)
    1 egg
    3 c. or more self-rising flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in water in large bowl.
    Stir in sugar, shortening and egg.
    Add flour, a little at a time.
    Spoon batter into greased muffin pans and immediately bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Store rest of batter in covered container in refrigerator.
    Keeps a week.
