Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
2 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
5 blocks chocolate
1 c. nut meats
Preparation

Melt shortening and chocolate.
Add sugar. Add eggs and vanilla.
Mix in flour, salt and nuts.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
Turn off oven and let brownies remain for another 20 minutes.
Makes a 9 x 11-inch cake pan.
