Paglia And Fieno (Italian)(Straw And Hay) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can Contadina tomato paste
    1/4 c. sweet basil, finely chopped
    1/4 c. onion, chopped
    4 cloves garlic, chopped
    1/4 c. fresh parsley, chopped
    1 Tbsp. garlic powder
    hint of oregano
    2 large cans tomato puree
    1 can whole peeled tomatoes with basil
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar (optional)
Preparation
    Mix by hand all ingredients (you may add more or less according to your party). Be sure there is 1 1/2 cups water in the pan. Scoop meatballs with an extra large ice cream scoop (they should be the size of a small baseball). Place them on an aluminum tray and bake at 400\u00b0 for at least 40 minutes.
