Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
1/2 c. thick sour cream
4 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream the butter.
Add sugar and cream well.
Add beaten egg yolks and sour cream.
Sift dry ingredients and gradually add to creamed mixture, mixing well after each addition.
Add vanilla and mix well.
Fill cookie press.
Form desired shapes on ungreased sheets and sprinkle with colored sugar.
Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
Yields 12 dozen.
