Butterscotch Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together.
    Roll and place in refrigerator overnight.
    Slice and bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 until done.
