Floreine Hudspeth'S Hoosier Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    1/3 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. butter, softened
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Place milk and flour in a small, heavy-bottomed pan and whisk vigorously until the mixture is perfectly smooth.
    Bring to a boil over moderate heat and boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
    The mixture will be very stiff.
    Remove from heat and let cool.
