Chicken Cutlets With Mushrooms And Sherry - cooking recipe

chicken cutlets
1 box fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 pt. sour cream
1 can cream of mushroom soup
cooking sherry
oil
margarine
bread crumbs
rice, cooked
Preparation

Dip chicken in bread crumbs and brown in frying pan with oil and margarine. Drain and arrange in ovenproof dish. Cut up mushrooms and saute in drippings from chicken. Add some sherry for flavor.
Pour over chicken.
Combine sour cream, mushroom soup and some sherry in frying pan. Stir until bubbly and pour over mushrooms.
Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for about 45 minutes, covered, until bubbling.
Serve with rice.
This dish can be prepared in the morning and baked at dinnertime.
