Old Timey Flour Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. self-rising flour
1/2 c. shortening
3/4 c. water or milk
Preparation

Mix shortening and water with half of flour, stirring with fork until flour is well mixed.
Add remaining flour as needed to make a dough that can be handled with hands.
Grease griddle (pan) with bacon grease.
Heat (not too hot). Pat dough out medium thin. Cook on slow heat.
