Egg Custard Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sweet milk, scalded
3 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 unbaked pie shell
Preparation

Heat milk to scald, but do not boil.
Beat eggs, sugar, salt, nutmeg and vanilla.
Beat well.
Slowly add this to milk.
Mix gently.
Pour into shell.
Bake 10 minutes at 400\u00b0, then turn oven down to 325\u00b0 and cook 25 minutes longer.
