Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken, cut up
    salt and pepper to taste
    butter (if needed)
    2 c. flour
    1 egg
    1/3 c. hot water
    3 c. chicken broth
Preparation
    Boil chicken until done.
    Use broth from chicken.
    Make dumplings with flour, egg and hot water.
    Drop by teaspoon into chicken broth.
    Cook for 15 minutes.
