Sterling'S Chili Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef (chili or coarse ground)
    2 Tbsp. bacon fat (drippings)
    2 tsp. ground cumin
    1/2 tsp. ground oregano
    4 Tbsp. chili powder
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    5 cloves minced garlic
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato paste (I use one 1 lb. can tomato juice)
    2 c. water
Preparation
    In a large skillet or deep chicken fryer, heat to medium the bacon fat.
    Add meat and garlic.
    Cook this until red color disappears from meat.
    Add remaining ingredients and simmer at least 2 hours.
    Add more water as needed.
