Carob Or Chocolate Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 sq. carob or chocolate (2 oz.), cut up
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 c. boiling water
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix together in saucepan the first 3 ingredients.
    Stir in gradually the boiling water.
    Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla; stir until blended.
    Serve warm.
    Excellent over ice cream.
