Vidalia Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 large Vidalia onions, peeled and coarsely chopped
    1 stick butter
    1/4 c. milk
    24 Ritz crackers, crumbled
    1/2 c. Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
Preparation
    Saute onions in butter for 15 to 20 minutes until clear.
    Stir in milk. Put half of onion mixture into a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
    Cover with half of crackers and sprinkle half the cheese over cracker crumbs.
    Repeat layers.
    Bake at 325\u00b0, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
