Chocolate Covered Strawberries - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 to 25 large strawberries
    1/2 pkg. chocolate chip morsels
    1 1/2 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
    Wash strawberries.
    Pat thoroughly dry.
    Allow to stand at room temperature for 2 hours.
    Leave stems and leaves intact.
    Melt chocolate chips with shortening over a double boiler.
    Holding strawberries by the stem, dip 3/4 into chocolate coating all around.
    Allow to drip and place on a plate covered with wax paper. Place in refrigerator to cool.
    May be done 2 to 3 hours in advance.
