Apple Crisp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. sliced tart pared apples (Granny Smith)
1 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. quick-cooking oats
1/2 c. butter or margarine
3/4 c. plain flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Put apples in a 9-inch buttered pie plate or 9 x 13-inch casserole.
Combine sugar, flour, oats and cinnamon.
Cut in butter until crumbly.
Press mixture over apples.
Bake in moderate 350\u00b0 oven 45 to 50 minutes or until top is brown. Chopped pecans can be added to topping.
Serve with ice cream or whipped topping.
