Melon Butter - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. finely, coarsely chopped cantaloupe, papaya or peaches
1/2 c. butter or margarine
2 Tbsp. lime juice
1 tsp. finely grated lime peel
1/4 tsp. black pepper
Preparation

In a small saucepan, simmer fruit until softened or microwave fruit in a small microwave-safe dish on High for 3 minutes.
Cool to room temperature.
Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and process until smooth.
Makes about 2/3 cups.
