Company Best Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 medium cucumbers
    8 c. white sugar
    2 Tbsp. mixed pickle spices
    5 tsp. salt
    4 c. white vinegar
Preparation
    Cover cucumbers with boiling water; let stand until the next day.
    Drain and repeat for next three days.
    On the fifth day, drain and slice in 1/4-inch slices.
