Pat'S Mexicali Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. pork hot sausage, fried and drained
1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. self-rising corn meal
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 c. whole milk
2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1 pkg. pepperoni, cut up
4 or more tiny hot peppers, chopped
2 eggs, well beaten
1 can cream-style corn
1 onion, chopped
Preparation

Mix batter thoroughly and add sausage, cheese, pepperoni, onion and hot peppers.
Pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan and bake for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
When cooled, cut into desired sized pieces.
Can be wrapped in Saran Wrap or plastic wrap and then in aluminum foil for freezing.
Great later when warmed in microwave oven.
